This is a remix of a remix of a remix but it looks like the original design is [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2248473](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2248473) So this is where I remixed from. I made the filament guide hole to allow for PTFE tube to be inserted. On the BMG clone that I used there was about a 4mm area below the gears that is about 5mm wide. Not sure whey they put it there but it caused TPU to bunch up there and stop feeding. Running the PTFE all the way up and about 4mm beyond the guide fixed the TPU feed issue. What I did was assemble the extruder, guide and stepper off the printer. Then pushed a PTFE tube from the bottom and cut it flush with a razor blade to get the exact length needed. I will be adding knurled M3 inserts to screw on the board controller cover but they may not be necessary. The screws seem to hold well as is. I liked the idea from one of the remixes of the base and stepper motor mount being separate prints to allow for more overall strength. Remodified the base and stepper mount to allow M3 screws and nuts to be used instead of adhesive to hold the parts together. Printed in PETG and it held up fine but also printed in nylon for better heat tolerance. PLA most likely won't hold up.
