Mount for BigTreeTech BTT PI TFT50 display for Lack Enclosure
thingiverse
This is a mounting system for the Big Tree Tech BTT PI TFT50 5" display. Note that there are 2 versions of the display, one with "PI" in the name and the other without. This bracket works with the PI version. I have no idea if it will work with the other display. I created this bracket to mount on my Lack Enclosure for use with OctoDash. This is a remix of a similar bracket used to mount the Prusa i3 MK3S+ LCD outside of the enclosure, but is sized for the BTT LCD instead. I tried to make the aesthetics of the case as close as possible to the Prusa LCD frame, but also tried to minimize the use of space. Note that I created 2 tabs on the bottom in theory to make it easy to remove the LCD from the frame. When I used this feature the first time, the tabs broke off from the frame (but the LCD was unharmed). I would recommend installing the TFT cable first before inserting the LCD into the frame so that you don't have to remove the LCD from the frame once inserted. I also purchased this 18" TFT cable rather than use the tiny one included with the display: https://www.adafruit.com/product/1730 . This allowed me to mount the Raspberry Pi in the back of the Enclosure. I also believe they sell a 12" and 24 " cable as well on that site. I printed as is laid out in the STL files without any supports using 0.2mm Quality profile in prusaslicer.
