This device makes it simple to attach something to your belt instantly. Just glue the object to the smaller piece and you can easily plug it in and out with ease. The rounded structure below the holder keeps larger/heavier things from sinking down. I used it to attach a chestburster from the movie "Alien". Several 3D templates are available on the internet, but I recommend using a different version than mine because it was a video game model not optimized for 3D printing and I had to grind off the polygons which was a lot of work.
