Mount for Adafruit Trinket.
thingiverse
I redesigned a custom mounting system for my Adafruit Trinket, improving how it holds the USB connector in place. I use the Trinket to drive an Adafruit NeoPixel ring that illuminates my 3D printed InMoov robot. You can follow these steps to learn how I created my Arduino library-based pixel show https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-neopixel-uberguide. **Customized Printing Settings:** - **Printer:** Vertex K8400 - **Rafts and Supports**: It doesn't really matter, so you can ignore them. - **Infill**: I printed at 30% to save material but still have good strength. **Tips for Post-Printing** I've managed to improve my NeoPixel ring performance significantly by finding a clever solution. Instead of using the Trinket's 5V out for powering both devices, I've decided to connect the NeoPixel Ring to USB+, freeing up extra power. The result is that I can now supply all available power from the USB port - approximately between 1A and 2.1 A depending on what kind of port I am using. Take a look at these images for some clarity.
