Here are models of Mount Calavera, a small volcanic plug in Carlsbad, California. The models were built using publicly available data from NOAA's Office for Coastal Management - "2002/2003 IfSAR data for Southern California: Digital Elevation Model (NAVD88)". Data for an area 900 meters wide by 1197 meters long at intervals of three meters was downloaded. OpenSCAD was used to construct two models: one made from square rectangular blocks at a resolution of nine meters; another at full resolution using an openSCAD surface file. Altitude was scaled up by a factor of roughly three.
