Order a 6x6 3D Print Mount Pahto or Klickitat, known by some Native American tribes as Adams, is an active stratovolcano in the Cascade Range. Although Adams has not erupted in over 1,000 years, it remains a potentially active volcano. It stands as the second-highest mountain in the U.S. state of Washington, after Rainier. Adams is part of the Cascade Volcanic Arc and ranks among the arc's largest volcanoes, situated in a remote wilderness approximately 55 kilometers east of St. Helens. The Mount Adams Wilderness encompasses the upper and western portions of the volcano's cone. The eastern side of the mountain falls within the territory of the Yakama Nation.
