I received two free shield fronts from a fellow collector, and in return, I created a replacement back for their USA version shields. It's likely that others have similar shields with the same design. When making my shield stable, I didn't worry too much about keeping it snapped onto the arm. The fingers hold it securely enough. The red part of the shield is typically made from cardboard, but I used a cut-out circle from a Wendy's take-out bag instead. A cereal box or soda can box would work even better, and you can customize the color to your preference. To attach the fronts to the backs, I had to carefully trim off the small cylinders that usually melt them onto place.
