Motorola XTS 3000/5000 FDNY Knob

This is a replica of the Motorola XTS FDNY Knob. I have updated original versions to fix the indicator line and to incorporate the original retaining ring. The reason for the retaining ring is to fix it to the insert. If you print with a flexible filament or resin you can just stick it on the insert and not have to glue it. I only did this on the replica and not the mod that I did. Instructions You can print it at whatever layer height you like. I have printed it at .1 and .3 and both look fine. You can also print it standing up and use support. It may take a little extra work to print it with the support but it makes the top look a lot better. I have printed it fine with no support on the inside. I also used 100% infill. I was using ABS on both the black and white. I gave the black on an acetone vapor bath. Then you can glue the stock insert in and you are done. Print it in any color you like.
