An alternative method to recharge a Motorola Xoom through docking pins is detailed below. After damaging the original charging connector, I created an affordable substitute using only two header pins, magnets, and super glue. Although this prototype functions well, further enhancements such as strain relief are planned. To charge your Xoom, 12V must be supplied to it; the pin nearest the power connector (right-hand side when viewing the screen) provides this voltage.
