I recently broke my belt clip for my T60. Unimpressed with the original design, I decided to create my own. The result is a simple yet effective solution that may not be aesthetically pleasing but serves its purpose well for a first version. The new belt clip consists of two distinct components: the body and legs. Both parts are engineered to be as rigid as possible to ensure stability. The legs should be printed in the orientation I've specified, which eliminates the risk of layer separation failure. However, this also means that one part must be glued to the rest of the clip body. **Important Note:** This design is currently being tested on two radios. After several days of use, I discovered that printing a single-part clip poses significant challenges due to its vulnerability in various orientations. **Final Update:** Following extensive testing over a month, both the original and modified (two-part) designs have proven reliable. Notably, the single-part design failed on one radio while still functioning on another (both instances involved removal of the single body part). Revision History: - 2018-06-20: Initial upload - 2018-06-27: Enhanced stiffness achieved - 2018-06-29: Split into two separate parts for independent printing - 2018-07-24: "Work in Progress" flag removed - 2018-10-26: Single-body clip removed due to all test subjects failing, while the two-part solution remains dependable.
