My Motorola MB8600 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem has no setting to turn off it's very bright status display. My modem is on my entertainment center and the blinking lights are very distracting while watching tv. I was going to run a strip of electrical tape over the lights, but instead I designed this display cover as a snap-fit solution to cover the lights. No supports necessary. Model is oriented upside down, with the snap pegs on first layers.
