Motorola APX6000 Cradle

Our fire department has recently been equipped with Motorola APX6000 portable radios, which unfortunately arrived without any mounts to secure them in our fire engines. This design consists of a cavity tailored to accommodate the radio and various types of mounts engineered around it, including a basic cradle and one that fits into a cup holder. I have also utilized this design to create a cradle capable of holding two radios and two spare batteries, which fits neatly into the center console of Isuzu NPS trucks but can be customized to suit other vehicles. ABS is the preferred filament for any part that will be exposed to a hot truck cab or locker. High strength is essential, so use plenty of infill, multiple shells, and bottom layers to achieve it.
