This redesigned magnetic stirrer device for chemistry labs features a beaker with enhancements over traditional motorless models. Created in OnShape, the cloud-based CAD software, it includes an LED ring within the beaker platform to illuminate liquid and sedimentation, as well as a touch-sensitive, hermetically sealed glass control surface for spill protection. To address the issue of silent operation, a spinning magnetic compass needle is added, indicating stirring speed.
