Mk1 Revision Released on 12/10/19 Mk3 Revision Released on 12/14/19 I needed an automated turntable for photographing small objects. Silent_Bob had posted one a while back along with software to drive an Arduino. Unfortunately, I didn't have the bearings he had chosen to use for the build. And I also wanted to use beefier bearings. So I've re-implemented it to use 608 (in this case ZZ, but that's mostly irrelevant) bearings. The files were scratch re-built from measurements; there may be other changes I can't recall as well. It now has a grub-screw hole to add some holding pressure to the stepper motor. Included are the modified files for the build. If I end up altering the software or using a different package, I'll link to it here as well. Enjoy! Update 12/14/19: I've added an initial software release to GitHub (It'll be updated there; there's a snapshot here) for the video table rotation. If you want to use this update as a scanner table, I haven't had a chance to clean up the Arduino Code for the scanner table I based it off of. However, it seemed to function just fine. I've redesigned the models again. The base has more support; it no longer flexes. And the tray has an extra runner for better contact with the bearings. There's now a build video to accompany the table: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fnc5LVbg8Z8 And a write-up on PCBurn: https://pcburn.com/motorized-turntable-for-video-photo-and-3d-scanning-diy/
