Motorized Roller Shade
thingiverse
I wanted to create a budget-friendly remote-controlled roller shade, utilizing Blynk and AccelStepper on a NodeMCU. Eventually, it will be powered by a Wemos D1 Mini. This project relies on a 28BYJ-48 motor driven by a ULN2003 board, allowing me to power it with a standard 5-volt phone charger. I would recommend using a 1A+ adapter for optimal performance, but currently, it's being powered from a USB 2 port on my computer. My software project for this undertaking can be found here: https://github.com/mrcory/Roller-Shade-Controller Note that the gears labeled "(Alternate Ratio)" have an approximate ratio of 2:1 instead of the intended near 1:1 ratio. A huge thank you to 3dexplorer for their work on https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5505
