The Geneva Mechanism, designed by Angus from Makers Muse, has been modified to be fully 3D printable, requiring no hardware, although some sanding may help it operate more smoothly. This mechanism offers an elegant way to convert continuous rotation into intermittent motion. Classically used in movie projectors, it's responsible for the iconic sound they make. Additionally, it's occasionally employed in indexable machines and CNC tool changing, as well as in certain mechanical watches. A link to the Wikipedia article on this topic is provided: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geneva_drive (Note: The crank has been revised after test printing, ensuring a better fit and easier usage). I have added an additional drive gear that should be compatible with plastic toy geared motors like the one depicted. This modification allows for continuous operation on a desk.
