Motorized Dalek 500x400x300

I scaled down my Full Size Dalek parts to create a Motorized Dalek that will follow me at the next Comic-Con in Santa-Fe. This print requires 3/4 spool or less, depending on your infill settings. I salvaged RC Parts from my son's old RC car and imported all my full-size Dalek parts into Simplify3D software to create varying layer infills. They range from 2% at the bottom to 100% for added support at a .1mm layer height. I reduced them in size to print on both my large 400x300 delta and smaller 220x400 delta printers. The larger delta handled the bigger items, while my smaller delta printed the smaller details at the same .1mm layer height. This allowed me to print the larger items with better detail without having to split them into smaller pieces. You can access the missing parts inside the Dalek body by moving it around. It took a total of one weekend to print both machines, with my 400x300 delta handling the larger items and my 220x400 delta printing the smaller details. I've added a second version that includes the missing pieces from inside the body, as well as an updated neck design that uses less material at 100% infill. This version prints to a height of 507mm, length of 401mm, and width of 300mm, making it a complete Motorized Dalek. After printing, all you need to do is add your RC Parts. My finished version lights up like my full-size model and says "EXTERMINATE." I'll post pictures once it's assembled, but feel free to start printing your own Motorized Dalek now. On 9/16/2017, I added a new head design that fits around the updated neck properly. On 9-22-2016, I shared a video of my semi-completed Dalek standing at 14.5 inches tall. Please ignore the bird in the background – it's not fond of RC vehicles. You can view the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AF5MPGv8x3s&t=11s
