This project employs a 28BYJ-48 5V stepper motor to adjust the angle of a set of vertically positioned blinds. The motor is installed vertically beneath the end of the blinds and drives the pull cord, necessitating no modification to the blinds themselves. Firstly, push the drive wheel onto the motor, then seat the motor in its designated case. Next, perform a test fitting to accurately mark the locations on the wall where the motor will be positioned. Ensure that the pull cord is not loose against the drive wheel. The vertical slots within the mounting case allow for adjustment of the cord's tension. Once the holes have been drilled, secure the mounting case to the wall and finally install the cord guide. I utilized two M4 * 26 screws which provided a firm grip. Although the original project was designed for roller blinds, it functions exceptionally well with vertical blinds as well.
