Motorised Helicopter blade launcher

Modified from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:51489 (user 271828 - thanks!). This custom-built spindle has eliminated the string hole for enhanced strength and now extends down to just above the base, featuring a precision-machined tapered opening for direct motor attachment. A previously used Honeybee CP2 helicopter brushed motor was repurposed due to its remarkable torque capabilities that can effortlessly launch the blades at a height of 30+ meters or more. This is an alarming consequence with a motor designed specifically for direct drive, as in this instance (low Kv/rpm, significantly more torque). The motor's integration required securely fastening it using internal mounting holes without over-tightening and then carefully applying heat from a heat gun to fuse the motor into the end of the handle. The melted screws solidly insert into the bottom slot of the handle, providing an uncompromising mechanical connection. Likewise, the cog is embedded seamlessly into the tapered spindle hole, resulting in an unyielding attachment system that eliminates movement and wear over time.
