Motorhome Overhead Lightshade
thingiverse
I had to swap out the busted light fixtures in my motorhome but since I'd upgraded to LED bulbs there was a glare issue that needed fixing. To get around this, I made duplicates of the original designs - some were crystal clear while others had a frosted finish that obscured parts of the design. I opted for polycarbonate and the results were fantastic, with a beautiful crystal-like appearance that I'm really happy about. I sliced the model down to 0.3mm thickness and managed to print it without any support needed. The PC stuck perfectly even with just two shells on the bottom, requiring no cleanup whatsoever. My printer was set to 315C for the extruder, 235C for the printbed, 45mm/sec speed, and a minimum layer time of 30 seconds.
