I took my Bounder motor home for a drive through some trees with branches that were a bit too low-hanging - they ended up ripping off the vent cap. That got me thinking about PickyBiker's 1.5" cap design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2521347), which inspired me to create something new. This time, I wanted it to slide into the pipe itself, rather than being a separate cover that sat outside. Plus, I needed to make sure it would fit the larger pipe size. I printed my design with the dome facing down and was pleased with how well it turned out. Initially, my design had a ring around the edge to prevent the pipe from sliding in too far. After printing, though, I realized that ring wasn't necessary at all - so I just sanded it off rather than re-printing the whole thing. Now it fits perfectly and even better than the original cap ever did. In fact, it's such a good fit that I ended up not needing any caulking to keep it in place.
