Motorcycle wheel ballancing tool
thingiverse
This homemade wheel balancing tool is designed specifically for motorcycle wheels, a project inspired by online research but lacking a freely available design. As a result, I created my own version using only scraps from my garage, with the sole exception being bearings, which were purchased. It would be beneficial to fabricate two cones from ABS material and use an infill density of 70% for optimal strength. Unfortunately, mine were constructed from PLA with a 20% infill, resulting in a noticeable weakness. To build this tool, you will need the following components: Hardware Requirements: * Four 608 bearings (available in the Czech Republic at a maximum price of $5 per set) * A 40-50cm long M10 thread rod - ideally without threads, but I was limited to using a screw rod due to garage availability * Two butterfly nuts for securing the thread rod * Four M8 nuts * Four approximately 30mm long M8 bolts * Eight washers (M8 size), placed on both sides of each bearing
