Motorcycle throttle lock
thingiverse
This is a complete redesign of the Motorcycle throttle lock by toofuu, making it thicker and more rigid while incorporating glove-friendly chamfers. I added a thumbscrew that works seamlessly with an M4 bolt/nut to tighten the throttle lock when its grip starts to loosen. The thumbscrew is carefully mounted with some interference to prevent slipping. A stainless steel M4 bolt (20mm) and standard nut are used. If you're looking for a handguard compatible version, find it at this link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1329289. It's essential to note that there is an IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNING. Ensure the head of the bolt fits snugly in the hexagonal recess in the bottom rail of the hinge and is flush with the surface where the brake lever slides. It's extremely hazardous to have any protrusion that might interfere with the brake lever operation. Before you attempt to use the throttle lock on the road, take some time to familiarize yourself with its operation. Adjust the screw tension and make sure nothing interferes with the normal functioning of your controls. You wouldn't want to find out something isn't working properly during a panic stop...
