Motorcycle Stand - Clean chain
thingiverse
Hello! I designed this easel to make cleaning and lubricating my motorcycle chain a breeze. It's built using threaded bars, nuts, washers, and printed parts. For me, all I needed to print was side wall A, so I haven't tested the other models yet. You'll need: 1 meter of M8 threaded bar (8mm) - 5/16" bars with their respective nuts can also work. 4 M8 nuts 12 M8 washers 4 Self-locking M8 nuts 4 Bearing 608zz 3D parts: 2 Sidewall A, B, or C 2 Rolls 4 Plastic washer Here's how to assemble: The plastic washer is used to increase the space between the bearing and the metal washer. First, insert the bearings into the rollers. Next, cut the threaded bar into 4 pieces of 23cm each and finish the ends to keep the nuts from locking in place. Then, take a printed side wall and attach two pieces of the cut threaded bar. After that, add a metal washer and a self-locking nut on top of the side wall. Inside the side wall, put a metal washer, a nut, another metal washer, the plastic washer, and the roller. Repeat this process for the other side and finish by tightening the two self-locking nuts. It may look complicated, but it's actually very easy to assemble. Here's how to use: Place the assembled part near the rear wheel and pull the motorcycle on foot. Raise the rear wheel slightly and place a stand under it...and you're done!
