I've got a treasure trove of gears and sprockets scattered around my house as decorative items, and when I pulled this vintage Vortex sprocket off my motorcycle, it instantly sparked an idea - what if I turned it into a sleek wall clock? With a massive stash of affordable Sangtai 6168S clock kits that I'd snapped up on eBay about a year ago, I quickly whipped up a sturdy bracket to attach one to the Vortex 251A-45 Honda sprocket. This nifty design boasts eyes on both the top and side, giving me the flexibility to choose which direction I want the bracket to hang. What's more, this clever setup should work seamlessly with many Honda sport bike sprockets - although you might need to fine-tune the size and placement of the posts for others, or tweak the center hole and bay based on your specific clock kit.
