I designed this phone holder for my bike. I prefer to use Google Maps to navigate on my bike. Initially, mounting a phone in the center of the handlebar was quite challenging. In fact, there weren't many phone holders available that fit the shape of my CB125E's handlebar. One option used a ball head but it was too weak to hold the phone properly since the ball was made of plastic. A 3D printed phone clip didn't seem strong enough unless I made it thick and, obviously, not look as good as molded products. So, I purchased a phone clip, a D-ring 1/4" screw, and designed a clamp for it. Required parts: + A tripod-mounted phone clip (search "phone clip tripod" on eBay to find the lowest price) + A 1/4" camera screw (search "D-ring camera screw" on eBay) + A spring with a 3mm diameter, salvaged from a broken pen + M3 screws and nuts, totaling six + Silicone grease for lubricating small clips that may be difficult to slide These items are inexpensive, costing only one or two dollars each (on eBay). Note: The two clamps should be printed in ABS for maximum durability. The adapter should be printed with support material. Infill density doesn't matter as long as you feel it's strong enough, possibly 30-40%. It should be compatible with other phone clips that can be mounted to a tripod, but the simple one with a mounting screw on the back is preferred since it's the strongest. The phone clip contains a spring inside which will corrode badly after a few rainy days. Don't leave it outside in the rain with your bike (a lesson I learned the hard way). You can modify it yourself using the Fusion 360 file (*.f3d).
