Motorcycle Pannier Mounts

I purchased several panniers from eBay, and they arrived without any mounting equipment for my motorcycle. In response, I began designing some mounts and thought it would be beneficial to share them here in case they assist others. The mounts should securely attach to a 12mm pannier bar. I plan to print these mounts using ABS plastic but have already prototyped them in PLA, and they fit well. To ensure a secure hold on the pannier bar, the mounts are designed to clamp down tightly; however, adding a small piece of inner tube from the motorcycle may provide an even tighter seal. Before drilling any holes, I used double-sided tape to pre-mount the pieces for alignment purposes. This allows for minor adjustments prior to final attachment. The smaller flat piece was intended for sealing some pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the pannier, and I will be using black silicone sealant to secure it into place. These mounts are still under development but can be used by others for non-commercial purposes without restriction.
