Motorcycle Handlebar-end Mirror Clamps
prusaprinters
This is a replacement bar-end clamp for a ball-socket style motorcycle mirror. Need 2 M4 screws and threaded inserts. Print Settings Printer: FLSUN i3 2017 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 15 Filament: Amazon Basics PETG Black Notes: No supports needed, just print them on their sides. PLA might be too brittle. PETG works well. ABS, or Nylon should be good too. Printed with 5+ Perimeters for an "overkill" factor. Holds up to a surprising amount of force, and holds the mirror firmly. Post-Printing Post-Processing Notes I used M4 threaded inserts for the screws. How I Designed This =================== Additional: I enjoy the style of these handlebar mounts, but cheap alloys break easily. Especially when someone knocks over your motorcycle. Instead of buying a new pair.... again.... I tried my hand at replicating them in Fusion360. So far they seem to work quite well. Category: Automotive
