Honda's CG125 bike features a manual transmission that relies on the rider to engage and disengage gears using the clutch lever on the handlebars. The clutch is typically operated by the left hand, where it's located near the grip. To shift into neutral or reverse gear, the rider must pull the clutch in while shifting the gears with their foot. As soon as the desired gear is selected, the rider releases the clutch slowly to avoid stalling the engine.
