Motorcycle Chain Oiler Mounts
thingiverse
This is an innovative automatic motorcycle chain oiler driven by inertia. The concept behind the chain oiler is remarkably versatile, allowing for universal application. The 3D files are carefully designed to keep the 'valve' mechanism vertically aligned on the BMW g650x. The parts are printed using TPU material, perfectly molding around the subframe. They feature openings for hose clamps that can be easily slotted through. For the oiler's components, copper and brass fittings can be readily sourced from local hardware stores. Experimenting with ball bearings revealed this design to offer the best flow rate. Required components include: 1/4" Compression Tube x 1/8" Male Thread Brass Angle Needle Valve 1/2 in Copper Pipe End Cap 1/2 45 Degree Elbow 1/2 Sweat Male Adapter 10-24 Nickel Plated Acorn Nut (ensure lock tight usage) 10-24 Bolt 10-24 Nylock Nut or 2 Normal Nuts to secure in place (the idea is to create counter weight at a higher position for storing momentum) Cameleon Chain Oiler - Semi-Rigid oiling tube
