Motorcycle Chain Oiler Block
thingiverse
This device secures to the exterior of motorcycle chain oil cans, making it effortless to lubricate the chain with one hand. It divides the oil path from the outlet tube into two distinct channels and positions the oil directly over the rings where it belongs. This significant design change dramatically reduces mess and ensures that the oil is precisely placed in its intended location, rather than being sprayed randomly everywhere. I've tested this concept with both the largest and smallest diameter cans available to me, and it functions flawlessly with both sizes. To install this device, simply attach it to the can using strong tape and verify that the outlet tube feeds into the block without any kinks or bends. I've only experimented with a 530 chain, but I see no reason why this design wouldn't work equally well with other chain types. This device can be printed using any type of filament; I chose PLA for my test model.
