Motorcycle chain alignment tool
thingiverse
Tool for motorcycle chain alignment ensures safe driving by preventing misaligned rear wheels, which cause bikes to steer off course, accelerating wear on chains and sprockets, and generating excessive chain noise. Made specifically for the ZZR600D bike model but suitable for most motorcycles. It may not fit bikes with oversized chains, though; in such cases, contact me for a custom-made tool. This handy device is particularly useful when working with poorly designed chain alignment brackets that make precise adjustments nearly impossible. The two-part design facilitates easy transportation and storage alongside other tools on the road. Tolerances are set at 0.15 mm per side, providing a snug fit if your printer's calibration isn't too far off. An M5 threader hole allows for securing the tool to the sprocket with an M5 screw. Simply place the tool over the chain and tighten it, then align it as closely as possible from behind. Removing the chain guard may be necessary.
