I designed a functional model of a carburetor for a dirt bike, creating a clear and detailed assembly guide that showcases its components and construction process. The top cap and bottom base were intentionally designed to be easily visible, providing an accurate representation of how the carburetor comes together as assembled. While I did not include jetting due to time constraints, this model still offers a comprehensive understanding of the carburetor's overall structure and function. To hold the pieces in place, I utilized screws that were readily available, making it easier for students to visualize the assembly process. This project was specifically designed as an educational aid for my MSE4777 class, providing a hands-on learning experience with the intricacies of carburetors.
