Motorcycle Bar End
thingiverse
I lost one of my Bar Ends so I designed a replacement. To make this work, you will need to print two of each part, along with 2x M6 x 50 Capscrews and 2x M6 Nuts. This design is specifically made for a 13mm ID Handlebar. Right now, I'm busy prototyping the expanding sleeve and will post this as soon as I've got a decent model. Photos of the print and fitted parts will be posted soon. Print this solidly because it will have to withstand some punishment if you put your bike down. I'm printing at 70% infill and 0.2mm Resolution. UPDATE: July 15, 2017 - I've added the Expansion Part of the Bar End. Let me know if this works for you or if you've got a better idea. The M6 Nut fits into the expander. The capscrew plug is 0.5mm oversize, so it may need some extra force to go in. I've also added an expander with M6 thread. It's easier to print and you won't need a nut. To get the thread correct, I had to scale it to 125% on my DaVinci printer where it printed fine at 100%. On my UM2 Clone, however, it printed perfectly without any adjustments. UPDATE: July 16, 2017 - I've created a version that you can quickly fit using a mallet. I'll use these until my expander design is finished and tested.
