This part was designed to connect with an Actobotics D-Hub and FTC motor, featuring a 0.770" hole pattern and 6 mm D-Shaft. Its purpose is to spool out and retract a line for a linear slide mechanism. This part was modeled by EMK of FTC team 14273, Sense and Sound Robotics (also known as Makerspace Invaders), specifically for the Skystone challenge. Two sizes are included here - spool diameters of 1.02" and 1.5". Printing two copies is necessary, after which they should be clamped to a hub. Using washers can help spread the load. The holes on the side serve as a spot for knotting a string. UHMWPE braided fishing line is being used in this setup. The team behind the robot is still building and testing it, so it's uncertain if this part meets their needs.
