Motor shaft 5mm to 8mm Threaded Rod Coupling (13mm hex nut)
thingiverse
Actually I designed this for my DIY CNC project, but since it uses 5mm motor shafts and 8mm threaded rods like many 3D printers do, someone else might find it useful for their printer. Attach two M8 hex nuts (DIN934) to the rod, with a 8.4mm washer (DIN125) in between them, then tighten them securely. The washer fits snugly into the inner notch, preventing the threaded rod from coming loose. The part's diameter is intentionally smaller at the center, allowing for some flexibility.
