Motor Nacelle/Mount For Twin Motor Setup - Clark Y Airfoil

I made this motor nacelle for Volantex Ranger 2000 to make it easier to change motors. Most nacelles I found make it nearly impossible to change the motor after gluing the nacelle to the wing. Now you can easily screw the motor plate of and change the motor. It fits every wing with the widely used classic Clark Y airfoil and a wing chord around 200mm. Volantex uses that airfoil for some of their planes like the Ranger and Phoenix series. It's made for a 22xx motor with 16x19 screw pattern like the SunnySky X2216/X2212 KV880/KV950/KV1100/KV1250/KV1400, Version II or III. You need some M3 screws to attach the motor plate to the nacelle. The holes in the cross section of the motor plate are slightly smaller so the screws cut a bit into the material. There are four holes to attach the motor plate but from my testing two screws are sufficient to hold everything in place.I printed this in PLA+ for testing but I'd recommend to print at least the motor plate with something more heat resistant like PETG.Print settings: 20% infill, 2 perimeters, top/bottom 3 layers, support on. If you'd like to see this nacelle adapted for other wing profiles or crew patterns just let me know or send me your wing profile. I'll see what I can do then.Enjoy and leave me a like or even a tip :-)
