Motor Mount

Motor Mount

I designed this for my new, much more stable print bed. It's been a few weeks of tinkering and I'm finally making progress. The frame is machined from aluminum and features drilled and tapped holes for all the mounts. The end stops are integrated into the rail mounts with M3 screw holes (check out the rail guide mount set in my designs). I haven't put the belt back on yet because I still have two slots to mill so I can attach my uprights that hold my Z axis square to the print bed. When everything is complete, the Z-axis should be square to the bed within 0.01 mm or that's what my plan calls for. If anyone wants plans and prints for the upgraded bed frame and more, I'd be happy to provide them upon request so you can make your own. Feel free to ask any other questions. I'm looking forward to sharing the final product with everyone. Pulley mount coming in the next day or two.
