Created this removable fan base to cool the motor. Use double sided tape to mount the fans to this base. Mount the base to existing 2 screws on the chassis. Use longer screws and secure this base with hex nut. My opinion is that without heatsinks and allow some gap between fan and motor yields the best cooling ability I am using the 40x28 server fans. Moves air like crazy even on 7.4V.
