Motor end for Rostock
thingiverse
The Rostock is a delta-style 3D printer featuring a bottom bracket housing a NEMA17 stepper motor, two 8mm smooth rods, and a plywood base. Updated OpenSCAD source files can be found on GitHub (https://github.com/jcrocholl/rostock). For assembly, print three of the provided parts at 120-degree intervals on a 300x350mm plywood rectangle with diagonal corners cut off. Secure the wooden mounting holes using #11 wood screws or M4 screws without nuts. Attach the smooth rods to the bracket using 16mm M3 screws, washers, and stainless steel hex nuts on the inside for optimal performance.
