This is a protective cap I designed for the "RioRand Mini 12V DC 60 RPM High Torque Gear Box Electric Motor" motors found on Amazon. The project required all wiring to be safely enclosed, and I had previously damaged the motor's electrical terminals due to their exposed and vulnerable design. To prevent this issue in the future, I created a friction-fit cap that can easily slide on and off with minimal effort. A tab provides added security and stress relief for the wiring, which is secured using a small zip tie as shown in the photo.
