thingiverse
Here is a motorized lift for Tulio Laanen's exceptional and popular Marble Machine 2. Developed from KreAture's enhanced lift, Thing #820323. Powered by 2 AA batteries, the lift seamlessly replaces and fits directly onto the original manual lift. https://youtu.be/Gfk6TAG3ZFM https://youtu.be/EiT330rlnDw edit Mar 9, 16: corrected the lift screw; now it spirals in the correct direction. Instructions Print out the 4 parts and refine them. They print nicely without supports. Drill out the screw holes to exact size. Tighten the 12-tooth gear with a 6-32 setscrew. You'll need several assorted screws for the battery holder and motor cover. Additionally, you'll require a short 6-32 set screw for the 12-tooth gear. Assemble the motor, switch, and battery holder. Motor is a Micro Gearmotor from Pololu with a ratio of 298:1. The battery holder is Digikey's BH2AA-W-ND. Switch is Digikey CWI334-ND.
