Motor Cycle Engine Internal Setup - Sprocket Small
grabcad
In this project, the aim was to create a "Motor Cycle Engine" internal setup using PTC Creo and Solidworks 2014 software for Grabcad audience. The model was learned from a tutorial video, and it will be uploaded in parts due to its lengthy nature. Sprockets, profiled wheels with teeth, are crucial components found in bicycles, motorcycles, cars, and other machinery. They facilitate the transmission of rotary motion between shafts or impart linear motion to tracks, tapes, etc. Bicycles, for instance, use sprocket-wheels on the pedal shaft that drive chains, which subsequently power small sprockets on the rear wheel's axle. Early automobiles also employed sprocket and chain mechanisms, similar to bicycles. Sprockets are designed to ensure maximum efficiency, though some used with timing belts may have flanges for centering purposes. They are suitable for high-speed power transmission from one shaft to another, with noise-less chains available for quiet operation at high speeds. A rendered image has been uploaded in Photoshop & Keyshot and more parts of this project will be posted soon, so stay tuned!
