Motor Cycle Engine Internal Setup - Desmodromic Valve System-Opening Rocker Arm
grabcad
Introducing an Opening Rocker Arm model created within Solidworks 2014, complete with IGES/STEP, Parasolid, STL, and Creo Part file formats. In this project, the user has recreated a "Motor Cycle Engine" internal setup based on a tutorial video, using PTC CREO and Solidworks 2014. The model will be uploaded in parts due to its size. For those unaware, a rocker arm is an oscillating lever that conveys radial movement from the cam lobe into linear movement at the poppet valve, opening it. In this case, the rocker arm is part of a Desmodromic Valve System, which uses gears and cams to open and close valves instead of conventional springs. The model includes one high-quality rendered image in Photoshop & Keyshot for your viewing pleasure. Stay tuned for more upcoming parts! Don't forget to comment, like (the heart-shaped button on the top right), and download if you find this useful.
