Motor controller Mount
thingiverse
I'm working on a robot and needed a way to mount the motor controller. Luckily I have access to a 3D printer :)\r\n\r\nThe motor controller is a Double BTS7960B (http://www.ebay.com/itm/162618525315).\r\n\r\nWhen the controller is mounted, accessing the supply and motor wires becomes quite cumbersome since the screws are facing downwards. Therefore I also created a stencil for a drill guide. Please note, I have not tried the stencil myself, but using it should create a hole similar to the one shown in the plate I used. To use it, first place the stencil (and check you have oriented it correctly) and trace all the holes with a 2mm drill bit. Then remove the stencil and extend the four corner holes to 4mm, then extend the next six holes to 10mm, and finally the last two holes to 25mm. Finally smooth the edges with a file.\r\n\r\nSee also the model of the controller if you need to make your own mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2589192
