prusaprinters

Set of 3d printed parts for the remote motor control of the standard manual jalousie.
Printed parts are attached to the jalousie control bar without any impact to the original control mechanism or window frame (except for a bit of glue).

Print instructions

Ideal to print with PETG, layer height 0.2mm or 0.15mm. The gear wheel beter with 0.1mm.
Supports usually not necessary except for the motor cover maybe.

Electronics consists of (costs roughly 7$):
NodeMCU v1.0 ESP8266 ESP-12E wifi module
stepper motor 28BYJ-48 with ULN2003 driver
limit switch
unipolar transistor MOSFET N-channel (to power on the motor only when needed)
capacitor 33uF
2x 10k Ohm resistor
1x 220 Ohm resistor
set of pins, wires, connectors, home made PCB

Recommended power supply: 9V 1A

If you are successful in building, on Thingiverse (can not post here) I have some source code for the ESP8266 controller (Arduino IDE). Controller acts as HTTP web server over wifi. I am controlling using my Android application, but can go also easily using web page.
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4647890

Note: The stepper motor is small and not so powerful, for large windows it might have issues to move all slats fully up.
