I made this bracket to house a motor I purchased from eBay, which boasts a 37mm diameter face mount and features gearings as well as an offset output shaft. The motor fits snugly into the bracket, allowing for secure mounting onto a flat surface parallel to its output shaft. You can make fine adjustments to the motor's position - perfect for adjusting belt tension, for instance - by twisting the motor on its face. Additionally, the slotted mounting holes enable you to tighten the motor in various positions as needed. Please note that I created this bracket prior to receiving the motor from China, based solely on dimensions mentioned in the eBay listing. It is not a flawless fit, but it functions adequately nonetheless. We employ this motor setup to power the "licker" of a drum carder for processing wool fibers. However, its potential applications are virtually endless - consider using it for robotics, home automation, or valve control projects. Meanwhile, you can find small DC motors like mine for under $20 USD on eBay, and that's an enjoyable discovery in itself!
