This mount is designed to work with Garmin GPS models that have suction cups, enabling you to securely attach your Moto X (in a slim case) to your car's windshield. The phone can be easily slid into place and will stay firmly in position. However, some users have noted that the plastic may weaken when exposed to high temperatures, causing the phone not to be held steadily. To overcome this issue, they recommend using a 13/16" external retaining ring for added security.
