Moto Guzzi blinker mount/ holding bar

This is the part that holds the blinkers on a Moto Guzzi California III motorcycle. I believe other Moto Guzzi bikes also use this same part. After many years those rubber parts get brittle and one broke off. The other one also already showed some cracks. So, those needed to be replaced. I copied the original design, with a small change to give it a flat surface for easier printing. There is a slot where you will need to insert a metal piece. This is pretty easy to cut and bent. I ground some additional hooks and grooves for more grip (see the image). Then i got it hot in a flame and inserted it into the slot. By making it hot, the plastic will melt and form around the hooks in the metal, locking it in place. I suggest printing it in TPU or TPE to gives it some flex and make it more durable.
