This custom phone case is engineered to provide a rock-solid connection on an FTC competition robot. The case can be securely attached on top of a Tetrix C-channel or along a small 90-degree angle bar. Teams should invest in a Micro USB cable, specifically A-to-Micro B with a 90-degree angle at the Micro B end. Additionally, teams are advised to use the protective case that comes with their phone from FIRST. Begin by plugging your phone into the Micro B port, then carefully place it into the holder. The Slim wedge is positioned on the opposite side of the Micro B port and will securely lock the phone in place, ensuring a tight fit while operating the bot. A small hole in the wedge allows for easy attachment of a zip tie. By threading the zip tie through the hole and forming a loop, teams can conveniently remove the wedge by pulling up with their fingers.
